Free, public tool identifies COVID-19 “vaccine deserts” and helps public health leaders plan for how to equitably deliver the vaccine to the remaining U.S. population lacking access.
COVID-19 has affected the way hospitals and health care systems function in nearly every capacity. With the ability to enact change at a system level, health care administrators have a critical role to play in ensuring that systems are in place to provide patients with high quality care while protecting workers on the front lines. As the COVID-19 landscape continues to evolve, administrators will be key in helping systems adapt to new challenges and demands on resources.
Experts from Ariadne Labs have developed resources to support administrators in developing and enacting policies aligned with expert opinion and the available latest evidence. Topics include appropriate conservation of personal protective equipment, triage surgical procedures, visitation policies, and human resource contingency plans for health systems bracing for a patient surge.
